Engagement is a core component of daily work at the Complex through a customer service approach to property management. Relationship building is particularly significant to the success of our sustainability program and overall enjoyment of working, shopping and visiting Commerce Court. Through one-on-one meetings we partner with tenants to enhance in-suite environmental performance.
Each month, the Compass e-news features a sustainability related topic or two in its Green Scene section. In addition, Green Council members and interested tenants receive regular sustainability focused information.
Commerce Court Events
In April, we celebrate the environment through Earth Week events, while in October the focus is all about the 3Rs during Waste Reduction Week. Community giving and workplace wellness events take place throughout the year.

The Commerce Court Green Council was launched in its current format in 2014 comprised of tenants and Commerce Court staff. Its objective is to foster ongoing dialogue and encourage collective action amongst all tenants and stakeholders at the Complex.
There are several key focus areas for the Green Council including Energy, Comfort, Transport, Water and Waste. The team meets quarterly and prioritizes educational and awareness programs for the Complex and its occupants.
