Wellness in the Workplace
WHY IT MATTERS
Wellness in the workplace is an important component to the management of the Complex because it creates a healthy and welcoming indoor environment for our occupants, visitors and contractors. There are two main features to wellness in the context of commercial buildings: the first is the quality of the indoor environment; the second relates to the mental and physical health of those who occupy buildings such as company employees.
WHAT WE ARE DOING
Ensuring a safe and healthy indoor environment is a top priority for Commerce Court property management. LEED-standard air filters are equipped throughout the Complex ventilation system to meet above standard Indoor Air Quality. Thermal comfort is closely monitored throughout the day, with a quick service dispatch system to ensure pleasant workplace temperature throughout the day.
Commerce Court housekeeping incorporates green cleaning practices that use non-toxic products. On-site practices include dry-cleaning procedures, energy-efficient vacuums that are equipped with HEPA filters, Green Seal approved cleaning agents, and reusable microfiber cloths.
Promotion of health and wellbeing
At Commerce Court, we believe we are more than just a great place to work. We strive to engage, educate and entertain.
Each summer we organize events that help transform the workplace to an engaging space filled with musical entertainment. In the summer of 2016, local artists shared their talent with live performances.
